It is now 2009, and there are more possibilities today than there have ever been. No one dreamed that at this time we would be able to send a combination of characters to make a message from one side of the world to the other (A text message). However, this is how all great ideas are formed. Inventors look at something that already exists and after careful research they improve upon the original invention. That’s why Morse Code has evolved into the text message. This is a very general idea, but it’s explosive in today’s world. My core reason for bringing this up is because the same idea about shopping existed, much like the Morse Code. There was a time where if you needed something you had to leave your house to get it. That is no longer the case today.

There are so many advantages to shopping online vs. shopping at a retail store. The first and most important is the more availability in styles and sizes. When you go to a store you are subjected to decide what to buy based on what they carry. If they don’t have your particular size, or the style that you were really crossing your fingers for you sometimes don’t have a choice but to settle. No more! Being able to shop online, you have literally millions of stores that carry popular brands, each store carrying a different variety of that brand. While shopping online you really need to know what size you are in everything, because the one downfall to this is you can’t try it on before you buy it. You will find it’s much easier to purchase something and exchange it via the internet, then waiting in long lines to try something on anyways.
That brings me to my next point about shopping online vs. a retail store. There are no busy crowds you have to uncomfortably wade through. While shopping in the comfort of your own home the only people you will have to combat are your family. Shopping online can become an addictive thing, and you will sometimes find yourself on the net for a very long time. As opposed to shopping at a retail store, which when you get there you can’t wait to leave because of how much of an annoyance it can become. When shopping online you can wake up when you want, and shop whenever you want. The control is in your hands. No fighting of busy angry crowds or having to deal with pushy sales people. This is the future of shopping.

My all time favorite part of having the luxury of shopping online instead of at a retail store is the scouting. When you are at a store you are forced to pay the price that the store feels is appropriate. Sometimes the price is way too high, but because you really need the product you are left with no choice but to purchase it at the outrageous price. While shopping online you are able to scout other stores prices, and make a decision from that stand point. Bottom line you don’t have to pay for something unless you think it’s actually worth it. You will find the best deals and sales just a click away.
I personally find shopping online much more relaxing then shopping in those busy crowded stores. There are some instances where you have no choice but to go shopping, we’re not at the point where we can purchase everything online- not yet. We are getting there though, and the faster you transition into this new idea the better off you will be. Start saving time and money by shopping online. There are a lot of other reasons that shopping online is more beneficial, but I’ll let you discover those on your own.
